What is the first thing you notice about this 2023 Lamborghini Huracan STO? Oh, that's an easy question. It is not like you can see anything else at first sight. Yes, it is the color, the insane Matte Viola Nebula, which costs as much as – let's say – a pre-used Toyota Camry.
Lamborghini only builds 700 Huracan STOs. And this is one of them, specced in a unique combination of Viola Nebula over Nero Cosmus Alcantara simulated suede interior with white contrasting accents. With the STO lettering standing for Super Trofeo Omologato (Super Trophy Homologated) and with the ‘Huracan’ being Spanish for ‘hurricane,’ this car is, indeed, a force of nature. Before you go all that "I've heard that before" nonsense, just wait until you hear the numbers! It is going to be worth it.

The STO variant is a track-focused variant of the standard Huracan, yet so different from any Huracan out there. The ultimate supercar sports a taller adjustable rear wing for extra downforce, and there is a roof snorkel that helps cool the engine. The power plant is sheltered by a cover that is reminiscent of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo race cars. There is storage space for racing equipment under the hood that opens downwards.

With 75% of the body made of carbon fiber, the Huracan STO is a rear-mid-engine, rear-wheel drive supercar that only weighs around 1.5 tons with fluids.

This version is powered by the company’s 5.2-liter naturally aspirated, direct injection V10 that generates 631 horsepower (640 PS) and 417 lb-ft (565 Nm), the same as the Huracan Performante, all steered towards the rear axle via the seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission.

It does the 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) run in 3.0 seconds, hits 200 kph (124 mph) in 9.0 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 325 kph (202 mph). These are the numbers that make the STO the fastest and most powerful rear-wheel-drive Lamborghini Huracan V10 supercar to date.

The rear wheel steering system and the Formula One-inspired CCMR brakes round up the package. The supercar rides on 20-inch forged wheels, while magneto-rheological shock absorbers, front and rear HD anti-roll bars, automatic ride control sport-tuned adaptive suspension, and a mechanical limited-slip differential are also on the list.

Three driving modes are available on board the Huracan STO: the STO is for driving on the road, the TROFEO is for the fast laps on dry tarmac, while the PIOGGIA is for driving on wet surfaces. The diver and passenger will sit in adjustable bucket seats with racing-inspired four-point harnesses, while the car ratains the aircraft-style liftoff cover switches.

There is plenty of carbon fiber in the cabin as well, because this is what Lamborghini does, while woven lightweight material covers the door panels. The 8.4-inch touchscreen displays the features of the infotainment system.

The race car for the street is equipped with a nose lift system, which surely comes in handy. When necessary, the driver can lift the front end of the car to avoid blows underneath. The model has a ground clearance of 4.9 inches (125 millimeters), which can be increased up to 6.5 inches (165 millimeters) at the push of a button.

Everything here is valid for this Lamborghini Huracan STO as well. It is a one-owner car, but that is nothing to brag about since it rolled off the assembly line in Sant’Agata Bolognese in 2023, two years after Lambo unveiled this track-focused version. The production is set to end in 2024. But every example of the V10-powered Lambo has already been spoke for.

This Lambo sports options worth of $55,140. Only the Matte Viola Nebula purple paint costs $16,500. Those bucket seats added $7,400 to the final price. The one who ordered it also paid $4,100 for the lifting system and $8,600 for the snorkel and rear wing, while the CCMR brake calipers were $1,400. The dark chrome and carbon package came with an extra $87,700.

When new, the Huracan STO started at over $333,000. With just one day to go and seven possible buyers so far, the bidding for the 2023 model on the RM Sotheby’s website hit $270,000. That is still very far from the $470,800 that the seller estimates this insanely painted STO at.

The odometer reads only 300 miles (483 kilometers), all covered while registered as a Montana corporate vehicle. Sold by a luxury car dealership based in Pompano Beach, Florida, the Huracan STO is offered with a clean Montana title and a clean Carfax report and is "in close to new condition."

The car goes with two keys, the owner's manual, and service books. A factory toolkit and a tire mobility kit are also included. The Lambo is still under the three-year warranty with unlimited mileage. But it is not like anyone is going to buy it and use it as a daily driver. Or is it?
