It's been almost a year since Ford introduced the special-edition F-250 Harley-Davidson, but despite all the time that's passed, the pickup truck still looks like one of the sexiest choices in the segment.
Of course, owning one makes even more sense for fans of both Ford and Harley-Davidson brands. On the other hand, the model also provides the best opportunity for those who aren't into motorcycles but can appreciate the values of Harley-Davidson to sort of own one of their products that isn't a mug or a leather jacket.

The base for this limited-edition model is a Ford F-250 Crew Cab with a 6.7-liter V8 PowerStroke turbodiesel engine under its hood that generates 475 hp and, more importantly, 1,050 lb-ft (1,422 Nm) of torque. All that power goes through a ten-speed automatic that smoothens things out and makes the big truck surprisingly easy to live with.

Coming in at just under 3.3 tons (7,262 lbs, to be exact), the F-250 isn't even an excessively heavy vehicle all things considered. However, with a maximum towing capacity of 15,000 lbs (6.8 tons) and a 2,660 lbs (1.2 tons) payload, a fully loaded truck and trailer combo is going to be ridiculously cumbersome.

With a price tag well over the $100,000 mark, people buying the Harley-Davidson edition, on the other hand, are less likely to use their trucks for work, other than towing a trailer full of their Harley-Davidson bike collection. The American motorcycles may be on the heavy side, but you would still need quite a lot of them to reach the 15,000 lbs towing limit.

The way the two companies have set the truck up leans more on the luxury side, with plenty of wood and piano black trimming inside and sporty accents on the outside. One of the most noteworthy ones is the big Raptor-like vent on the hood that, coupled with the black plastic honeycomb grille and the bright orange accents, give the otherwise massive vehicle a pretty sporty look.

Don't be fooled, though, as even the potent engine can't change the sluggish nature of this beast. It may be quick compared to its peers and the expectations dictated by its dimensions, but it's no sprinter. It is rather refined, though, which is just as well as it fits with the luxury features of the Harley-Davidson special edition.

What features? Well, apart from the exterior touches - where we forgot to mention the Harley-Davidson branded 22-inch milled aluminum wheels - you get black leather seats with the H-D logo and orange quilted stitches, billet aluminum pedals, and, again, Harley-Davidson-branded gauges.
