Honda’s luxury division Acura has announced pricing for the 2013 ILX sedan, which will become available for May in the US from $25,900.
The Japanese automaker hopes the car will wow new customers and get them behind the wheel with a standard power moonroof, starter button and keyless entry. The car also has Pandora internet radio and Blootooth connectivity.
Of course, that’s only the starting point o a range that can also bring the ILX with Premium Package to your doorstep. That adds leather interior, heated front seats, a rearview camera and 17-inch aluminum wheels for $3,300 extra.
Power for the Civic based sedan comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 150 hp. The ILX will also be available with a hybrid system for $28,900. This uses a 1.5-liter in combination with an electric motor to produce a combined maximum output of 111 hp.
If that sounds hugely underpowered, go for the top 2.4-liter engine with 201 hp that brings the cost to $29.200 as standard.
