Fiat Dealers Disappointed in Alfa’s US Arrival Delay
The US dealers were never actually promised explicitly that they wound have Alfa models to sell, but considering the fact that European showrooms are now joining the Fiat, Lancia, Chrysler and Alfa vehicles under one roof, this more could be considered natural.
In addition, Group CEO Sergio Marchionne did say back in August of last year that the lineup of European cars sold in the US is likely to be augmented by Alfas.
"Right now I'm pretty disappointed because I have a pretty big investment in Fiat," said Carl Galeana, owner of Fiat of Lakeside in suburban Detroit and a member of the Fiat Advisory Committee, the dealer council. "I built my store predicated on the fact there would be more than Fiat."
