Ever wondered how hitting 0 to 62 mph in two seconds feels like? It might not be as fast as the blink of an eye, but is sure does come close. This is what the next Bugatti model is rumored to be capable of. Since engineers at Volkswagen are still working on finding a way to define the (Chiron) Veyron's successor and complete it for commercial production, we found something that could keep the wealthy busy until then.
You know how Ikea stores have that sort of map that leads to each area of the shop? Say you need a bed for your 4-year-old son, a new oven for the freshly renovated kitchen or maybe you’re considering to refurbish the bathroom.

Turn left, walk pass by the bedroom part and a couple of desks later you’ll get there. Anyway, that’s Ikea, but what happens with the wealthy, pretentious people, that type of folks that need that special something to be satisfied?

They’re most likely not going to be buying from the Swedish furniture maker; that is certain. Some will go for exclusive fittings, others will look for restored older units. But most of these people will want to feel special and unique, they’ll want a one-of-a-kind type of thing.

That is what we’re looking at right now. We know what you’re thinking, how could they dare ruin an over two million dollar hypercar to make furniture out of it. Well, they didn’t. No, in fact, the front part of the unit is made out of fiberglass while the back is constructed using medium-density fiberboard (better known as MDF). No 1,000-horsepower beast was destroyed for this desk, rest assure.

The racing desk is available in a variety of colors including orange, blue, gold, white and more, and each unit is built on demand. If you like the looks of this eccentric lifestyle issue, you might want to check out another of the company’s products, a Lamborghini desk finished in orange.
