The peeps at Koenigsegg are a pretty wild bunch. The thing is, this bandwagon of Swedes is head over heels about cars.
Koenigsegg, as I’m sure you already know by now, started life 22 years ago. An ambitious Christian von Koenigsegg started the Swedish automaker with one intention in mind. That intention was to build a world-class supercar, one that will make Ferrari, Lamborghini, and all the other big boys pee their pants.

And boy, did Christian deliver such a car. It goes without saying that without his fellow gearheads in arms, Christian wouldn’t have made Koenigsegg a household name in the realm of supercars, hypercars, megacars, you name it. For those who might be curious as to what Christian’s little helpers drive, well, let's say that they are pretty darn passionate. Like really, really passionate.

“We recently had a Family Day for staff to bring thier loved ones along and see the factory. As part of this, we had a little car show out front of the building. Here's a small selection of some of the cars our people drive,” reads a Facebook post from Koenigsegg Automotive AB. Before I run through the list, let me start with my favorite car of the lot: the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T.

As for the rest of the cars Koenigsegg staff drives, the list continues with the Tesla Roadster, a stanced BMW 1 Series Coupe, Nissan 200SX, Ram 1500, Renault Laguna Coupe, S197 Mustang, E46 M3, Jaguar XJR, Tesla Model S, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS, and an Opel Kadett with a 240 horsepower engine sourced from a Calibra. Varied selection, I’d say. But wait, there's more!

Would you care to guess why a red-painted 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata roadster has been selected as the featured photo of this story? Well, here’s why: “Something to get our test driver, Robert, a little excited. He loves MX-5s.”
