A driver crashed his Ford Mustang into the rear end of another car that had previously managed to avoid getting t-boned. The man behind the wheel of the msucle car did not have a driver’s license and failed a breathalizer test at the scene.
What goes around comes around. Literally. A Ford Mustang driver miraculously managed to avoid t-boning a car just because the other driver pressed the brake pedal on time. But the man in the Mustang eventually lost control, went around the car that he almost crashed into, and slammed into it from behind. The actual miracle is that everyone involved walked away unharmed. Only the ego of the muscle car driver, who wasn't really a driver, in fact, got injured in this ridiculous accident.

Sometimes you just can't escape fate. And these cars were probably meant to crash no matter what. CCTV footage shows how the driver of a yellow Mustang, sporting black stripes stretching from bumper to bumper ran a red light, went into the junction despite the traffic light showing red. He drives slowly and insecurely, while another driver has to stop abruptly to avoid getting hit.

But the rear-wheel drive and the weight of the Mustang must have played tricks on the one behind the wheel. He lost control, his muscle car started fish-tailing to the left, and took down a traffic sign.

Just when the Mustang driver seemed to regain control, his driving skills failed him again, and he slammed head-first into the car he had previously managed to avoid. The ‘Stang also lost the rear bumper in the process as it got hooked to the pole.

The incident happened shortly after 4 PM on Sunday, March 24, in Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic. The one behind the wheel was a 50-year-old man who did not have a driver's license.

And things are about to get worse for him. According to a statement issued by the Czech police, he had drunk a beer and a shot of rum before getting in the car. He tested positive for alcohol on a breathalyzer test carried out by the police officers at the scene of the crash. He was charged with four offenses: running a red light, going over the speed limit, driving without a driver's license, and drinking and driving.

Driving a Mustang was an experience offered as a birthday gift by a friend. But the gift was the birthday guy riding shotgun in the passenger's seat. The man insisted on driving the muscle car instead.

Ford Mustangs are as dangerous as their drivers

Mustangs can, indeed, be very dangerous cars, if they end up in the hands of those who don't know how to tame those horses and have no idea how to work around the rear-wheel drive, especially when they are powered by V8s and not by EcoBoost engines.

That is probably one of the reasons they got permanently banned from Coffee and Cars events, together with Chevrolet Camaros, and Dodge Chargers and Challengers. However, older generations of these models still have permission to attend the weekly meetings.

Drivers who have been participating in the weekly events for ages are furious and point out that it is not a car but a driver issue. The Mustangs are not guilty of slamming into curbs, light poles, or even worse, crowds cheering.
