Watch a Helicopter Delivery of an Aston Martin on Top of the Burj Al Arab

Aston Martin is really proud of reaching its 100th anniversary, this year, and they have chosen a very special delivery of their new 2013 Vanquish to mark an important part of their ongoing celebration. They airlifted the Vanquish via helicopter, and placed it on the heliport which sits atop the famous Bruj Al Arab hotel, in Dubai.
From the helipad, the CEO of the company, Dr. Ulrich Bez said: “It is with great pride that we continue our centenary celebrations in such unique manner in the city of Dubai. Today we are achieving another world first – one of many for Aston Martin over the years. This is a true feat for Aston Martin and a fantastic way to begin a new century of global success for our iconic brand.

Airlifting cars, for promotional purposes is nothing new, but it is a very good way to draw a crowd, and attract attention. BMW airlifted their M3 GT art car to the top of an imposing cliff, in Norway, for a very special photo shoot, and they are among the many manufacturers to have done so.
