The new Aston Martin Vanquish is slowly but surely making its way across Europe to various dealerships. Yesterday, this blue example was filmed in the Netherlands by Youtuber Jorrie2, who says it’s the first one in the country.
He manages to record a couple of flybys and some excellent on-road footage of this V12 thoroughbred.
We’ll remind you that the Vanquish is a brand new British sportscar. It’s a bit wider and also much lighter thanks to the use of carbon fiber than its predecessor. Powering the Vanquish is a revised version of the 6-liter V12 found in the DBS, which has gotten an extra 55 hp for a total of 565hp (573PS) and a peak torque of 620Nm (457 lb-ft).
The supercar-GT will accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.1 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 295km/h (183mph).
Right now, we still don’t know if it will replace the DBS, but Aston has given the regular DB9 a facelift for 2013, so that won’t be killed off.
