There three wise kings of the East travelled once again to the US in order to sample three amazing machines. We’re talking about three amazing supecars, each with their own faults and strengths to rely on.
In the blue corner, we have the amazing new Aston Martin AM310 Vanquish, Britain’s front-engined machine, filled with the purest of elements: carbon fiber and the best leather in Europe. Because of the color, we believe that’s the very Vanquish shown at Pebble Beach, the first one in the US. Jeremy Clarkson is the one who went British and is driving it.
In the Yellow corner, we have the Lexus LFA – not really new but still valid, despite it single-clutch gearbox. It’s the most expensive car here, and it’s being driven by captain slow!
Lastly, we have the brand new SRT Viper, featuring the biggest engine by far, the least amount of carbon fiber of the lot and the longest bonnet. For the first time, the Viper has traction control and luxury fittings, but it’s still a beast, just what Richard Hammond wants.
The next season of Top Gear will air starting January 2013, with this likely being one of the last episodes in the series. It’s going to be a good one.
