The Sant'Agata Bolognese-based carmaker unveiled the Revuelto almost a year ago as the heir to the Aventador's flagship throne. Still, of course, it's too young to make a dent in the delivery figures – instead, the brunt of the work fell on the Urus super-SUV, which is still the company's best-seller with over 6k deliveries. It was followed by almost 4k Huracans and also the final 12 examples of the Aventador that were ever made.
Naturally, this high percentage of Urus high-performance SUVs means many people seek to have them individualized to better stand out in any crowd. Even Lamborghini understands the need for personalization, and along with the Urus S and Urus Performante, there are also various special editions. Last year in May, they unveiled the most extreme of all - Urus Performante Essenza SCV12, which is supposed to be the pride of owners and the envy of everyone else.
This is not just because there were just 40 examples made like this but also because only owners of the Essenza SCV12 limited-edition hypercar designed for track use only were allowed to place an order for the corresponding Urus Performante. However, that means there are still a few dozen Urus Essenza out there, and one particular customer from the United States (one of just six, allegedly) decided that something needed to be done.
Well, no worries; the aftermarket realm is always ready and willing to resolve such conundrums. Enter the good folks over at Hollywood-based RDB LA, who worked their magic to make the Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 both stealthy and a stand-out super-SUV. The modifications include a Satin PPF (paint protection film) Clear Bra over the paintjob, "proper stancing by RDB," a louder Capristo exhaust system, an ECU plus transmission tune, a swap to 24-inch Velos aftermarket wheels, plus the extreme 1016Industries carbon fiber widebody aerodynamic kit.
So, now this is the one and only Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 fitted with a widebody kit in the world, at least according to RDB LA. However, if the all-black appearance is a bit too subtle for your widebody Urus dreams, no worries – the California-based aftermarket specialist also has another Urus Performante with the same 1016Industries carbon fiber widebody aerodynamic kit – this time around dressed in a conspicuous yellow and featuring the 24-inch RDB Signature wheels in black, this time around.
