If you want to buy a Lamborghini Revuelto, and patience is not your virtue, well… too bad then! That is because the car is already sold out until late 2026. So, if you place an order today, you will have to wait for at least three years to have the Revuelto in your driveway.
It was Lamborghini's first plug-in hybrid that helped the company score record sales in 2023. The Italians sold 10,112 cars in a year for the first time in the history of the brand, which represents a 10 percent increase over 2022.
And they did it on an anniversary year when they celebrated six decades since the company was founded. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, labels the milestone as a "true source of pride."
The Sant'Agata Bolognese-based carmaker unveiled the Revuelto in March 2023 as the successor to the Aventador. The model, which Lamborghini labels as an HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) hybrid super sports car, entered production in July, and by November, the Italians already started deliveries.
The Revuelto is part of Lamborghini's electrification plan, Direzione Cor Tauri, which is Italian for 'To the Bull’s Heart.' The strategy is set out to lead the carmaker to the decarbonization of its entire lineup.
The model is powered by the company's almighty 6.5-liter V12 and three permanent magnet motors, which deliver a combined output of 1,001 horsepower (1,015 metric horsepower) and 595 lb-ft (807 Nm) of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch automated manual takes those to both axles. The HPEV flashes from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 2.5 seconds and hits a top speed of 217 mph (350 kph).
Soon after the official unveiling, Lamborghini first announced that the car was sold out for the entire 2024. Weeks later, they said the same about 2025. Now, it is the turn of 2026 to be almost fully covered by reservations.
And it is only gettingworse better for the brand, of course. More potent variants and special editions are in the works and about to get even more customers interested. A Revuleto SVJ is part of the plan.
The United States remains the brand's largest market, with 3,000 cars delivered. 961 examples arrived in Germany last year, while customers in China received 801 of them.
With the sales figures for the Revuelto yet unreleased, the Urus is still the company's bestseller, with 6,087 customers going for the super SUV. The Huracan came in second in 2023 as 3,962 cars were sold. 496 cars went to the Middle East, and 409 remained at home in Italy. Lamborghini also delivered the last 12 Aventadors last year.
2023 was the year Lamborghini also unveiled the Lanzador, an all-electric concept car powered by two motors, one on the front and the other one at the rear, working together for a total of 1,341 horsepower (1,360 metric horsepower).
