A world-famous luxury builder, a very popular yacht series, and an innovative design concept – Oreos is the culmination of what could be defined as the perfect formula for success. The only superyacht in this series that's currently available for the summer season (all the others are privately owned), Oreos is one of the most spectacular options for five-star cruising.
Oasis is one of those series that are born to make history. It made waves worldwide when Benetti launched it in 2018 and will surely continue to dazzle for many years in the future. The Italian shipyard officially launched its Oasis Series at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival and has sold 22 units since then. The series includes two versions: the smaller Oasis 34M and the Oasis 40M.

This month, Benetti delivered the 12th hull of the Oasis 40M line – an incredible achievement confirming this design's enduring popularity. Christened Maverick, this full-custom luxury toy is the first one in the series to be delivered to a New Zealand-based customer. Only a couple of months ago, the previous Oasis 40M unit, Oreos, celebrated its christening ceremony at the builder's Livorno facility. At the moment, Benetti has 12 more units in the same series on order or already under construction.

What common denominator made the Oasis 40M so incredibly successful? It's a truly innovative design concept that totally transformed the onboard experience. Benetti introduced the Oasis Deck as a "revolutionary nautical design concept" based on five pillars meant to create an unprecedented onboard connection to the surroundings.

This bold vision completely changes the entire stern of the yacht. As its name suggests, it turns an entire deck area into an unconventional open-air lounge with an integrated swimming pool and magnificent, uninterrupted views.

Most luxury yachts place the swimming pool up on the sundeck, while the beach club is configured like a lounge area with easy access to the water for swimming or having fun with water toys. The Oasis Deck brings it all to the water level for an incredible connection to the outdoors and a sense of freedom.

The first element of the Oasis Deck is represented by the elegant open-out deck wings that extend the entire area. This doesn't just make it feel much more spacious but creates closer contact with the water. At the same time, the wings double as discrete protection panels against the waves for the sun beds and seats placed in this part of the deck.

The infinity pool is the second element and the most spectacular. Literally at the heart of this lavish beach club, the infinity pool with a glass front wall sits right next to the water – an amazing feature for a superyacht. Magnificent 270-degree views and a strategic mix of sun and shade are the other two main elements. In other words, this relaxation heaven can be enjoyed at any time of the day, offering unobstructed views all the way from the main salon towards the stern.

Lastly, the Oasis Deck is about socializing. The exquisite main salon with glass walls connects seamlessly to the outdoor lounge area and to the swimming pool. With typical yacht configurations, you’d have the pool up on the sundeck, the salon on the main deck entirely closed off, and the beach club as a separate area.

Benetti's game-changing concept brings them together, creating a true "oasis” onboard, where guests are encouraged to spend time together while remaining closely connected to the water and the open air.

The impressive Oasis Deck is best represented on the Oasis 40M yachts, but it's also integrated into the B.Now series, with yacht sizes ranging from 50 to 67 meters. Benetti developed this concept together with the award-winning British studio RWD.

This gives Oreo its distinctive character, a combination of Italian glamour and classic English elegance. The yacht's Greek-inspired name means "attractive" – a perfect fit for its dazzling design.

Oreos' interiors also match the oasis concept through the minimalistic style, organic shapes, and nature-inspired color palette. The New York-based studio Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture had never styled a superyacht before but made a wonderful debut with the Oasis 40M series.

Oreos can accommodate up to ten guests across five staterooms, offering an impressive guest-crew ratio (nine crew members). Although the Oasis Deck is obviously its main attraction, all decks offer amazing areas for al-fresco dining, sunbathing, and lounging. Performance-wise, twin MAN engines give it a top speed of 17 knots (19.5 mph/31.4 kph), while the 40,000-liter fuel tank ensures a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles (7,400 km).

Oreos is the only yacht in this amazing series that's currently up for grabs, only in a co-ownership formula. The company that owns it is offering a 33.3 % share, equaling 64 days of usage per year. The other 11 units are all enjoyed by private owners exclusively.
