A good camper van interior has the power to influence your mood. However, it can be a daunting task to create a genuinely aesthetically pleasing design that has many functionalities. But with the proper team and expertise, it can be done, as demonstrated by the camper van build I'm checking out today.
What we have here is a deluxe camper conversion of a 2021 Ram Promaster 159WB High roof carried out by Tiny Planet. Tiny Planet is a company created by a couple, Sophia and Denis, specializing in van conversion for pursuing bliss. The company's mission is "to enhance the overall enjoyment of life by providing an unparalleled travel experience."

Tiny Planet takes its campers' interior design very seriously, as seen in each one of their rigs. This ProMaster is finished in the company's Boho Desert design, characterized by a fusion of the raw beauty of the American deserts and the refined comfort of European hotels. What's more, it boasts a soothing palette of sand shades paired with crisp whites, creating a cozy and minimalist interior.

You'll notice plenty of natural materials inside this van, including bohemian-inspired touches, such as pampas grass and wicker textiles. Overall, this design evokes calmness, relaxation, and serenity, all while integrating many practical features. Before we take an even closer look at the interior, let's first check out the rig's exterior.

The ProMaster is finished in white paint, and there are few elements that reveal its camper DNA. The builders added a rack on the roof that holds a wooden deck made from composite boards and solar panels. To get up there, you can use a ladder mounted on the driver's side. Moreover, the rig comes with 360-degree roof LED dimmable lighting, perfect for camping in the wild.

And that's about it regarding the exterior, so let's move on to the truly distinctive part of the van, the inside. Step inside, and you'll discover a seating area dead ahead. It comprises a bench, a flip-up table, and a sliding window for additional ventilation. By the way, Tiny Planet opted for an open layout, so it didn't separate the driver's cabin from the living space, although there's a curtain that allows for more privacy.

Both the driver's and passenger's seats can be swiveled. Because the seating area is right behind the driver's seat, it's the perfect spot for two people to enjoy a meal or work on their laptops. What's more, you can do the same from the passenger's seat, as there's a flip-up table extending from the kitchen countertop. For storage, you can use a vast headliner shelf and a hidden floor compartment under the seating area table.

The next part of the interior is occupied by a wet bathroom. Tiny Planet's design expertise is instantly noticeable inside, as the bathroom's walls are finished in tiles imitating white marble. They're paired with a slatted wooden ceiling with integrated color-changing LEDs and a teak mat.

Of course, you'll find a shower and even a hidden waterless toilet mounted on a heavy-duty drawer slide. It extends from under the seating area bench, enabling you to have as much room as possible when showering. What's more, the couple installed the renowned Nebia shower, which uses just 0.4 gallons (1.5 liters) per minute, enabling you to take long showers without worrying about water capacity.

By the way, you get a capable water system in this van. Tiny Planet fitted a 33-gallon (125-liter) freshwater tank, a 20-gallon (76-liter) greywater tank, and a 2.5-gallon Bosch electric water heater.

While we're on the topic of utilities, you'll want to know there's a remote-controlled diesel heater inside the rig. Furthermore, the heat will remain inside thanks to the rig's Thinsulate insulation.

Above the main door, you'll find the rig's main control center. It has an MPPT controller screen, a Victron battery monitor, an inverter power switch, a heater monitor screen, and controls for the exterior lights.

Opposite the bathroom, you'll discover the kitchen. It features a decently sized butcher block countertop, a two-burner induction stove, a deep quartz sink with an extendable faucet, a small 12 V fridge, and a hexagonal tiled backsplash. You can use the ceiling Maxxair fan to ventilate the area while cooking. There's also a CO2 detector for additional safety.

For storage, you can use the multiple drawers and cabinets under the countertop, as well as three enormous overhead cabinets on the passenger's side, running from the van's entrance to the rear doors.

One distinctive feature inside the kitchen, located between the bathroom and bedroom, is a floor-to-ceiling pantry. It boasts two tall pull-out drawers, perfect for storing dried goods, spices, personal items, and more.

A great way of highlighting design is via lighting. This camper features a multi-zone dimming light system controlled through a remote, enabling you to set the mood with any color you want. What's more, you can independently control each of the four lighting zones.

The final part of the living space is the bedroom, located at the rear of the interior. It comes with a full-size bed with a memory foam mattress, measuring 6'4" in length. Under it, there's a pass-through door that leads to the garage – it's large enough for a person to crawl through it, so you can take out whatever you need from the garage.

Just like in most camper garages, the middle part is dedicated to storing bulkier items, while the sides are occupied by utility systems. The electrical system is on the right and features a 3,000 W inverter/charger, an MPPT controller connected to 420 W solar panels on the roof, 300 Ah batteries, and a DC/DC charger. Of course, you can also charge it via shore power using a connection at the rear.

All in all, Tiny Planet has done a fantastic job with this camper. They have found the perfect balance between style and functionality, bringing this interior to a deluxe level. Although we don't know the exact price of this build, the starting price for the company's conversion is $59,500 (€54,615).
