If you’re into the car detailing business, you already know that refreshing the look of pretty much any model out there requires a lot of work and time, as every phase needs to be completed thoroughly before advancing to the next one.
And because for many the detailing process just comes down to a quick polish, the experts over at Ride & Shine Detailing have decided to publish the longest car detailing video on YouTube.

While you’ll probably needs two trucks of popcorn to watch the whole video, the 5-hour detailing process includes key phases that you can skip to in case you don’t have the time (and probably the mood) to see the clip from one end to another. Just make sure you check the video description for the index.

We had this crazy idea to upload all of our video material we have on detailing the Bugatti Veyron. And we decided to just do it and upload the longest car detailing video there is on YouTube. Almost 5 hours of footage is raw uncut video that shows almost everything we have done on this car,” the team at Ride & Shine Detailing explains.

So basically, the process starts with the typical intro, which fortunately has only 2 minutes and a half, and continues with removing the old PPF and the necessary washing before anything else. Next, a quick checklist for the paint correction followed by the polishing process that takes “many many many hours,” as it’s mentioned in the video description.

Then, it’s the interior cleaning, applying the new premium coating, drying it, and finally getting the car out of the garage to see the sun once again.

While the 5-hour video is obviously way too long for anyone to watch completely, it’s one cool way to understand what detailing means in the first place. And since it’s all done on a Veyron, it’s probably the time to get that popcorn popping.
