The C8 generation Chevy Corvette is better than ever. It boasts exotic looks, a mid-engine layout, and doesn't break the bank for what is essentially a supercar.
With its 490 hp or 495 hp with the performance exhaust system or Z1 Package 6.2L V8 and the ability to sprint to 60 mph (97 kph) in 2.9 seconds, the base Stingray comes from $68,300 for the latest model year, not including the destination charge and dealer fees.

The track-focused Z06, with its flat-plane crank 5.5L V8, which pushes out 670 hp, dropping the sprint time to 2.6 seconds with the available Z07 package, has a $112,700 MSRP. Finally, the electrified E-Ray, which boasts AWD, offers 655 hp combined, and is one-tenth quicker than the Z06, comes from $104,900.

The bowtie brand is currently putting the final touches on the all-new ZR1, which will top the family in terms of performance and pricing. The most extreme version of the C8 Corvette series is expected to put around 850 horsepower under the driver's right foot, and if the number is correct, then it will be much more impressive than the Z06 and E-Ray.

Don't want to wait for Chevy to launch the new Corvette ZR1? How about its C7 predecessor, instead? This is a 2019 model that has only 495 miles (797 km) on the clock. Therefore, it is a brand-new machine despite being almost five years old, and any collector with a soft spot for this model would be proud to make it theirs.

Despite being part of the previous iteration, the C7 Corvette ZR1 is way punchier than the latest Z06 and E-Ray. Its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 motor kicks out 755 hp at 6,300 rpm and develops 715 pound-feet (969 Nm) of torque at 4,400 rpm. It has a seven-speed manual transmission, and it's a proper driver's car that can still send shivers down the spines of the exotic establishment every time the person holding the wheel abuses the right pedal.

Sporting an orange paint finish and numerous black accents, this Corvette ZR1 rides on ten double-spoke alloys that spin around the orange brake calipers. The interior combines black leather and Alcantara and also offers a touch of orange. Moreover, since it has barely seen any action throughout the years, everything looks just as good as when the car rolled off the line.

Offered without reserve at the RMSothebys auction taking place in Miami on March 1 and 2, 2024, this dream ride, which features every factory option available back then, is estimated to change hands for $230,000-$300,000. As a result, it is about as valuable as a Lamborghini Huracan. This makes us wonder if we'd really get it over the Sant'Agata Bolognese marque's V10-powered supercar.
