The Apple Tractor Pro Dreams of Total Industry Domination by the Global Powerhouse

Folks, today we're going to be talking about a slightly different Apple product, one that doesn't actually exist on the market but that brings a very interesting spin to an often-overlooked machine: the Tractor. It's called the Apple Tractor Pro, and while it bears the mark of the tech-laden giant, Apple doesn't actually seem to have had anything to do with this puppy. Still, it's a neat spin on the timeless tractor and worthy of a closer look.

Now, the idea behind this concept is simply to "Introduce the future of farming." With that in mind, we can expect the Tractor Pro to be the sort of machine that's armed to the teeth with tech, and theoretically, it is. But we just don't know how much and what tech is inside. All we know is that it's electric, but we'll get to that shortly.

First off, let's dive a bit deeper into the looks of this thing. After all, it's an "Apple product," and these days, that means a whole lot. The question is, how the heck do you incorporate traits from such a brand into a machine or industry where it typically has no business? By knowing where to look and having a solid grasp of product design, as Dvornytskyy's profile would indicate.

Overall, the entire contraption is crafted with the iconic brushed aluminum or steel look and contrasted by all-black tires and the all-glass cab. At the front, the Apple logo tells the world that your workhorse is the poshest around. But that's just one side of the story.

As I explored this design, I tried to correlate all the Apple goods I've seen over the course of my life, and clearly, some of their features are expressed here. I already mentioned the whole brushed metal look, and as I stared at this contraption longer and longer, I was reminded not of an iPhone but rather a different Apple product, one that designers typically use, mainly because of its computing power, the Mac Pro Tower.

I relate the Mac Pro Tower to the section of the Tractor where the engine would typically be. Since this is an electric machine, this space is possibly reserved for nothing more than a massive battery pack. Those lateral cooling ports, like the ones on the Pro Tower, are yet another design cue that leads me to believe that there's a battery array in there.

As we head toward the rear of the Tractor, the cab comes across as inspired by yet another Apple product, the Mac Studio, but the biggest one possible. It looks as though a couple of them have been stacked, shaped with glass, and large enough to house a human.

Come to think of it, this is meant to be the peak of what the farming industry has to offer, and if we consider that autonomous farming vehicles have been around for years now, it makes sense if no human ever sets foot inside this concept.

Speaking of autonomous use, there's no clear indication that this is possible with this concept, but being the so-called Apple product that it is, you can expect this thing to be as connected to you and your smart device ecosystem like nothing else that came before it. The modern farmer should be able to track battery levels, positioning, and other diagnostics to ensure peak yield when harvest rolls around.

At the very rear of the Tractor Pro, Dvornytskyy added the hitching system for whatever you need for the day's job, as well as the charge port for this vehicle's battery array. Above that, yet another section of the Tractor shows off those Pro Tower looks, including those iconic metal handles and the words "Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in Heven. Made by @cars_drmr YouTube Channel." can also be seen. Just a bit of marketing to display to the world.

Speaking of marketing, it looks like a whole lot of that went into the Tractor Pro. It even feels as though that's all this concept is about: how do we take an iconic brand and apply its design principles to an industry where it typically doesn't activate?

Funny enough, this isn't the first time a designer has taken Apple design cues and principles and tried to expand on its uses and applications. We've seen concept Apple cars, Apple e-bikes, and even Apple boats, all promising to be the next best thing. At the end of the day, the Apple Tractor Pro may never make it into a real machine, but that doesn't stop us from dreaming of a cleaner, better way to farm.
