This is the third video providing an aerial view of Tesla's Nevada-based Gigafactory, but it is also the one that shows exactly how fast is the facility moving towards its grand opening.
About one week ago, Elon Musk tweeted that the Tesla Model 3 production will start in two years because the company needs the Gigafactory up and running first to sustain the assembly of another vehicle.

The reason we're telling you this is a new video shot from a drone flying above the Gigafactory, a clip that shows a great deal of progress compared to the previous footages.

The four-minute video was posted on YouTube by user Black66, and the first thing we noticed was a new wing rising near the almost-finished center piece.

We like how the drone approaches the construction site from many angles, allowing us to see just how much the work has progressed over the past month or so.

If we didn't know better, we'd say the Gigafactory is built on the moon, not on Earth since the rocky background combined with desert-like terrain produces an environment similar to the one found on our planet's natural satellite, geographically speaking.

It's not Interstellar, but the video's soundtrack will also make you fell like you're witnessing humanity's progress in the making, which by some is exactly what Tesla Motors has to offer.

According to the one who posted the video, his Quadcopter few about 1,200 meters out over the Gigafactory and as you'll be able to see in the video, a coyote stopped by to see what's happening.

Coming back to the Gigafactory itself, we find it pretty clear that the facility is crucial for Tesla's future efforts. So far, there's not much info on the battery pack plant, but if things go as planned, Tesla will hold the factory's grand opening in April 2016.
