At first glance, the Cozy Cottage might look like any other tiny home on wheels (THOW) with a rustic, cabin-inspired appearance. However, this smart design uses more than one secret weapon to turn space limitations into opportunities. The result is a dreamy family abode with the familiar comfort features of a traditional home.
Jon from The Get Out House Tiny Homes aptly named his flagship design "Cozy Cottage." This beautiful dwelling is warm and welcoming in every way, starting with the clever layout and continuing with the high-quality plumbing and equipment.

At 26 feet (7.9 meters), this modern abode with two loft spaces is not exactly a humble cottage. Yet, it exudes the warm ambiance of a home in the middle of the forest, built in harmony with nature. It's a beautiful mix of natural materials and contemporary accents, giving it both a timeless and edgy look.

Cozy Cottage's first secret weapon is the clever use of windows. According to the builder, it boasts no less than 12 – a remarkable number for a house this size. Different sizes and shapes were used so that all 12 windows could be perfectly integrated throughout to add more natural light in strategic spots and to offer beautiful views.

Natural light and proper air circulation are two must-haves for tiny homes on wheels, and the Cozy Cottage seems to be as luminous and airy as it gets. Its lounge area is surrounded by multiple windows creating the illusion of an indoor-outdoor space.

The tiny loft area above only has two small windows, but their unique shape and placement add visual interest. Multiple windows keep the kitchen flooded with light as well, while the main loft bedroom seems even wider thanks to the large windows on both sides.

Another secret weapon is the highly-strategic use of space. With all micro homes, every inch matters – some designers choose to add functional elements in every spare corner, while others o for a more minimalistic approach. The Cozy Cottage seems to be somewhere in the middle. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed by a spacious living room. Still, instead of the typical sofa bed that would take up most of the space, this lounge comes with a smaller sofa, leaving room for additional furniture.

The smart configuration includes an unexpected dining nook right between the living room and the kitchen. A decent-sized table with two or three seats is placed in front of the windows. It feels much more comfortable than a foldable alternative or a basic breakfast bar, adding to this cottage's traditional charm.

The kitchen also feels like a farmhouse kitchen, although it's compact. Quartz countertops and a tiled backsplash create an aesthetically pleasing contrast to the massive wooden staircase. A microwave, a propane gas countertop range, and the Retro Galanz refrigerator are seamlessly integrated. In addition to the built-in cabinets, the staircase provides ample storage in different-sized compartments. The tiny loft space above the lounge can also double as a storage area for larger items.

The bathroom also comes with a practical vanity with multiple drawers. The tiled shower adds a premium touch. As for the toilet, future owners can opt for a standard version or an eco-friendly one (composting or incinerator), which would cost more. Speaking of traditional-style comfort, the Cozy Cottage reveals another secret weapon in the form of floor heating – its bathroom features a heated floor controlled through a separate thermostat.

One of The Get Out House trademarks is the huge bedroom. Forget compact, cramped sleeping areas that make living in a tiny home not so comfortable. This loft bedroom boasts generous space, enough for a large mattress and built-in cabinets – a very practical addition for added comfort. You might notice the lack of any railing or protection walls, but don't worry – they can be added per request, and built to the customer's specifications.

The Cozy Cottage isn't just about looks and comfort but also about long-lasting, solid construction. It comes on a dual-axle trailer with underneath sheathing and structural wheel walls, specifically built for tiny homes. New Hampshire Pine was used for the exterior and ceiling, with top-quality insulation and waterproof, luxury vinyl plank flooring.

The model presented in the photos was built before the brand's NOAH (National Organization of Alternative Housing) certification. At the moment, all of its builds are certified, which translates to guaranteed quality and durability, plus the benefit of added value.

The flagship Cozy Cottage was sold, but those who fell in love with this design can have a home just like it, in their preferred colors and with custom finishes, for $93,500. As an alternative, The Get Out House also offers the Cozy Contemporary, up for grabs with a $92,000 price tag. Both designs are fine examples of comfortable, practical tiny homes on wheels that shatter space limitations with skillful design and top-notch appliances.
