The Renault Fluence has only been on the European market for about three years, having been revealed at the September 2009 Paris Motor Show. But Renault has a new design direction that started with the new Clio’s debut earlier this week, and this will also be applied to the Fluence.
The big change is the introduction of a new grille design with a slight ‘V’ shape centering around a much bigger Renault diamond badge. Let’s hope that spells victory, because the Fluence was elegant in its design before this facelift.
The headlights will also undergo some serious upgrades, adding the obligatory LED daytime running light strips. The front bumper will also have to change entirely, but round the back the changes are much less noticeable.
The shape of the taillights won’t change, but the graphics might in order to follow those on the Clio or the facelifted Scenic.
