There's a reason why superheroes or movie spies, and even some of the hardest-working villains in Hollywood's fictional universe, choose remote locations for their mansions or lairs. Privacy is a must for all these types and, apparently, so is for today's most discerning multi-millionaire.
If said multi-millionaire also has a passion for collecting cars, all the better. The perfect mansion, described as a future architectural masterpiece and soon-to-be icon, is only three years and $29 million away. In addition to striking aesthetics and the most enviable location, it comes with a dream garage, a dreamy private driveway, and the most outrageous luxury features.

What is there not to love about it, really?

This is the Serenity Heights Estate, whose only flaw so far is the fact that it doesn't exist. Yet.

Construction is planned to end by 2027 when the new owner can simply move in with his eight cars and start living the high life. Take that in the most literal sense because this piece of real estate hovers over the Arizona desert, rising proud out of the mountain on the highest lot in Paradise Valley and thus able to offer unbroken views of Mummy and Camelback Mountain.

Serenity Heights is a 16,000 square-foot (1,486 square-meter) two-level mansion made of steel, concrete, and glass, so as to integrate almost seamlessly into the rocky environment, but packed with luxury features that would rival a seven-star resort. The estate is actually comprised of the main residence and a two-bedroom guest house, so it would be perfect as a retreat for the entire family – and members could go on for days without actually coming face to face.

The mansion doesn't exist yet, but construction has an estimated completion date by 2027, based on a design by architect Ivan Shongov with Kurt Holland of Incline Custom Homes. Located in the guarded community of Clearwater Hills, the home will be accessed by an equally spectacular winding 3,000-foot (914-meter) driveway – the best intro to the dream garage to which it leads directly.

The temperature-controlled garage will offer space for eight cars, preferably the most prized items from a larger collection.

Renders show an auto gallery with all-glass walls and special lighting, so we're to understand that at least one section of the garage will be reserved exclusively for display purposes, while the other part will have usual daily functionality. A separate storage area and dedicated cabinets add functionality to this space, allowing for maintenance work on the cars on-site.

While Serenity Heights can be described as a car collector's dream mansion, it's clearly more than that: it's an architectural marvel with all the trappings of modern luxury life.

Designed to impress the senses in every way possible, it features incredible amenities, including a 3,000-bottle wine cellar, a professional full-size gymnasium and wellness area with sauna and steam room, a home theater, a safe room, rooftop gazebos, and an infinity pool to die for.

That last part might sound like an exaggeration, but it's not. The infinity-edge pool cantilevers over the rocky mountain slope and features a glass bottom that allows you to take in the natural surroundings whenever you're going for a dip. Even swimming is a different experience when you're rich, isn't it?

Speaking of which, the roof is dedicated to sun-worshiping, featuring a 10-person custom jacuzzi and two gazebos. So, when you grow tired of looking at rocks when swimming in the main pool, you can move the party upstairs.

Other incredible features include sliding glass walls that open up interior spaces to the elements, suspended indoor fireplaces, a day kitchen and a chef's kitchen, an atrium lobby with a glass staircase and a circular glass elevator, an IT room, a private office, indoor and outdoor bars with attached fancy lounges, and walk-in wardrobes larger than what we normies get with our city apartments.

The listing makes a note about how the mansion is designed with sustainability in mind – not in the way that a tiny home might be, but in terms of having minimal intrusion on the surrounding environment. If that's not enough to tickle millionaires' fancy, there's also the privacy aspect: the same listing says that the mansion is barely visible from any other property due to the height of the lot while offering a bird's eye view of everything else below. See without being seen, and all that.

Serenity Heights Estate was listed last month with an asking of $29 million, which includes the lot and the future futuristic mansion, but not the cars in the garage (duh!). The practice of selling real estate that hasn't even broken ground yet is rare but not unheard of and largely dependent on the future owners' patience and level of trust. That last part is a moot point if the buyer is a real-life villain, though.
