Few people remember the Pontiac Parisienne, and nobody can blame them. The car has never been as popular as other Pontiac models despite building a solid customer base in the United States.
The fifth-generation series, born in 1977 and produced until 1986, underwent several notable transformations. First, the Parisienne borrowed the front end and taillight design from the Bonneville for all 1977 to 1981 model years.

The 1982 model year witnessed another big change, as the Parisienne took over Pontiac's full-size B-platform push with help from a fellow Chevy model. The new Parisienne was based on the Chevrolet Caprice, the model born in 1965 and promoted to a standalone series in 1966.

The final years of the Parisienne didn't bring many changes, as sales were already declining. Pontiac eventually retired the Parisienne in 1986.

A 1985 Parisienne landed on eBay earlier this week thanks to seller wnyclas-69, who says they pulled the car from a barn four years ago. They purchased the car specifically to give it a second chance but eventually decided to let it go.

The Parisienne is a "rock solid West Virginia survivor," so the car should theoretically be as original as possible. The floors look good, without any concerning rust, and still wear the original panels. The body seems solid and straight, aside from a few dents that should be easily fixable. Everything appears to be there, paving the way for an easier restoration if you believe this Parisienne deserves a second chance to return to the road.

This is the point where you must decide what to do with the car. The owner explains on eBay that they have already received an offer to sell the car to someone planning to use it in Demolition Derby, so unless somebody else wants it, the Parisienne will end up crushed in the fight. The car looks too good to have such a cruel fate, and I believe it's daily driver material, especially considering its solid shape.

The engine under the hood is also a good choice if you want to drive the car regularly. The vehicle is fitted with a 305 Chevrolet engine paired with an automatic transmission, though I don't know if it starts and runs. The owner says it "might still run and drive," but you'll have to inspect everything in person if you're interested in this Pontiac.

The car can be had for less than the price of a new iPhone. The owner wants only $750 for this Parisienne, claiming they already received the same offer to let the car participate in Demo Derby.

You can find it in Rushford, New York, and considering the listing will expire in approximately four days, you should really hurry up to give this Pontiac a second chance.
