Seat Ibiza ECOMOTIVE Available for Order

Seat has made a new step on the eco pathway, as the company has opened up the order books for the most frugal version of its entry-level vehicle, the New Ibiza ECOMOTIVE.

Seat claims that the vehicle sits at the top of its class in terms of eco-friendliness, as it only emits 89 grams of CO2 per km and needs 3.4 liters to cover 100 km (69 mpg).

The third generation of the Ibiza ECOMOTIVE reaches the market with excellent credentials as its reduced fuel consumption figures and emissions levels make it the most ecological model of its segment. The new Ibiza ECOMOTIVE is even more environmentally friendly than the previous version thanks to its record-setting emissions of only 89 g/km of CO2 and a frugal fuel consumption figure of only 3.4 litres for every 100 kilometres of driving,

The model is powered by a 1.2 liter TDI diesel engine that uses common-rail injection and a diesel particulate filter and delivers 75 hp. The vehicle has been fitted with a Stop-Start system, as well as with other energy-saving solutions.

The ECOMOTIVE version is available in the model’s three body styles: five-door, SC (SportCoupe or three-door) and ST (this is the station wagon version). The vehicles offers a wide range of standard equipment.

The first deliveries for the SEAT Ibiza ECOMOTIVE are scheduled for September.

All this makes the car an excellent purchase, as customers not only are exempt from paying registration tax, but can rely on a vehicle that is more economical and even more environmentally friendly,” stated the press release.
