When you select a Ferrari 812 Superfast configuration such as the one sitting before us, you have to be prepared for a vawe of split opinions. Then again, if this Maranello machine had come dressed in the good old Rosso Corsa, we wouldn't be talking about it, would we?
The story of the car obviously kicks off with the Rosso Dino main hue. As the die-hard aficionados among you know, this historic Prancing Horse color has been named after Enzo Ferrari's son, Dino.

The orange-like shade was obviously used on the 246 GT Dino, as well as on other classic Fezzas, such as the 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Nevertheless, the color was kept in the Italian automotive producer's archives for decades, before an Enzo customer selected this some 16 years ago.

That very Enzo marked the general return of Rosso Dino, with this being subsequently featured on the 458 Speciale (here's James May's example), the California T, the F12 Berlinetta and even the LaFerrari. And here it is, adorning the sculpted lines of an 812 Superfast.

However, the spec we have here stands out even more, all thanks to its... consistency. In other words, orange has also made its way inside the super-GT (this is probably not the exact hue as that of the exterior, though). As such, the said shade can be found on the seats, as well as in the dashboard and door cards of the Italian exotic we have here.

Of course, this kind of spec will generally split aficioandos into two main camps. There are those who adore the boldness and those who would rather stick to the mainstream colors, such as yellow. However, regardless of which side you find yourself on, you have to admit there's no way to ignore this toy.
