A production version of Lexus’ stunning LF-CC coupe concept has been confirmed for production, according to autocar.co.uk, who say it is expected to hit showrooms before 2015. The concept was first seen at the Paris motor show, earlier this year, and now it has been brought to the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show, as well.
According to the British publication, serious work on the new car is set to start early next, yet it isn`t the only exciting piece of news from the Lexus stand, as the same source that passed on the information regarding the LF-CC also said that the luxury Japanese automaker is also mulling the idea of creating a rival for the Range Rover Evoque, yet its inception is far from certain.

Back to the LF-CC, it is expected to be launched as both a coupe and a drop-top, sharing its platform with the new IS and GS model, as well as their drivetrains. We just hope they stay true to the concept’s stunning and rather elegant styling, because if they do, it will easily be the car’s main and most obvious selling point.
