Everybody just loves a good crash. We can’t explain it, as we don’t have a psychology major, but that doesn’t make it less true. We love F1 crashes, NASCAR crashes, WRC crashes and, above all, we love supercar crashes.
Whether you’re admitting this fascination or not, here’s another one for you. A $1 million Pagani Zonda F got trashed in Hong Kong, as wreckedexotics.com reported. These cars are so unique that it's a known fact that only three crashes involving a Zonda have ever occurred and two of them happened right here in Hong Kong.
It seems that wealthy Chinese are Pagani fans, considering that only 106 Zondas were ever built, out of which 25 were Zondas Fs. “Limited edition” is an understatement, so what were the chances of two Zondas crashing in the same city? Really low, probably.
Nobody knows exactly what happened, but sources say that the owner was coming home from a track day when an out of control truck forced the Zonda into some parked cars. Judging by the level of damage, which seems to be quite serious, the speed was a bit above the legal limit.
If you found a new passion for wrecked exotics, you should check out the video of another $1 million car, which was driven directly into a salt water lagoon in the US: the world famous Bugatti Veyron crash. And if that’s not enough, watch this Ferrari California drifting into another car.
