Opel Takes Adam to Space

Yesterday, we reported that the Opel Adam had already gathered 20,000 orders and now Opel is trying to keep us busy again, by telling us that it has taken the Adam to space.
No, the carmaker hasn’t strapped the city car to a space shuttle. Instead, It used balloon power to send a drawing of the car past the Earth’s borders. The aforementioned balloon also held a video camera and Opel is now showing us the footage - you can see the thing climb past the clouds and, subsequently, you’ll get a nice view of out planet.

Opel tells us that the Adam was showcased 32 km (miles) up in space. The plate that held the drawing of the Adam also read “Hello! If you’re going to visit Planet Earth don’t forget to drive an Opel Adam, it’s an intergalactic experience!”
