The Kei car market in Japan has just received a new member, as the Honda N-ONE has gone on sale on Friday. The city vehicle comes with the standard 660cc engine capacity of a Kei car, but customers can choose between a naturally-aspirated version and a turbocharged one. Honda also targets buyers who are looking for something special, with the carmaker offering a Premium equipment level that comes with 16 exterior colors, also including 5 two-tone combinations.
The automotive producer has also made advances on the safety front, with the N-ONE offering a Pedestrian Injury Migration Body design, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), as well as side curtain airbags.
The Honda N-ONE starts at JPY1,150,000 yen ($14,370 or EUR11,218) and, depending on the engine and features chosen, the price can go up to JPY1,707,750 yen $21,340 or EUR16,664).
