Toyota's Pixis Kei Car Brand Debuts with the Space

Toyota seems to be convinced that aggressive expansion is the way forward these days. After the company (re)entered the boat market with the Ponam-35 leisure cruiser a few days ago, it is now introducing the Space model under its recently-presented Kei car brand, as Integrity Exports writes.
You see, even though Toyota owns Daihatsu, a company who really knows what it's doing when it comes to Kei cars (microscopic cars with small engines for the Japanese Domestic Market), the carmaker recently introduced a new brand dedicated to this, Pixis, which is now giving us its first vehicle.

Dubbed Space, this will make its public debut on September 26. However, we are not talking about a new development, since the Space is virtually a rebadged incarnation of the Daihatsu Move Conte you see in the adjacent image. The curious thing is that the two cars will also be similarly priced.
