Stellantis' multi-brand partnership with RED continues on the right side of the Atlantic Ocean with the introduction of a new special edition truck. Called the Ram 1500 (RAM)RED, it is a continuation of the pickup launched in 2021.
Unlike the previous model, which was built on the Ram Night Edition, this one is based on the 1500 Limited, and features similar goodies in the form of exterior and interior updates that are bound to make it more visible.

For instance, the new Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition is presented in black. All exterior trim wears this color, from the side mirror caps and tow hooks to the exhaust tips, headlamp bezels, 22-inch wheels, and window surrounds. In fact, the only thing that wears is the Ram logo on the grille and front doors, which has a red look.

The extra tinted windows provide a superior level of privacy and don't allow us to take a look at the tweaked cockpit. However, even if it hasn't released any pictures of the interior, Ram says it features a similar look to the outside. It has bucket seats up front, black leather upholstery, and a dedicated logo that adorns the center console in the same red finish as the exterior emblems.

Powering the Ram 1500 (RAM)RED is the same HEMI V8 engine with mild-hybrid technology. The 5.7-liter unit produces 395 hp (401 hp/295 kW) and 410 lb-ft (556 Nm) of torque, which makes it identical to the one found on the 2024 Ram 1500 Limited in North America. The 48-volt system improves the fuel economy without sacrificing the magic numbers mentioned above and supplies an extra 130 lb-ft (176 Nm) of thrust.

We do not know how much the new Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Limited costs on the other side of the pond, as the automotive giant hasn't dropped any pricing details in the press release. A 1500 Limited will set you back at least $65,205 for the 2024 model year in the United States with 2WD, whereas the 4x4 variant starts at $69,055.

Ram's trucks are being sold in Europe through the AEC and KWA networks, and they are offered in multiple configurations. The Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Durango are also marketed through the same networks on the right side of the pond.

As for RED, it was founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to tackle AIDS/HIV. All money generated goes to the Global Fund, and so far, they are said to have gathered over $750 million that benefited more than 245 million people. Stellantis' Jeep, Ram, and Fiat have donated at least $4 million to the Global Fund since 2021.

Besides Ram, RED also has partnerships with Jeep and Fiat and various other brands unrelated to the automotive world, like Louis Vuitton, Beats by Dr. Dre, Apple, Panasonic, Bank of America, Starbucks, Vespa, and others.
