It's a sad day for Jaguar enthusiasts as the British marque has taken one step into the electric future by officially bidding farewell to the combustion sports car. The F-Type is being celebrated with a limited edition dubbed the ZP, which features some retro-ish style goodies.
Available in both Coupe and Convertible body styles, the new Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition is an ode to the E-Type ZP Collection that came out earlier this year, featuring exclusive design elements that were inspired by the 1960s E-Type racers.

Shoppers will have to limit their color choices to one of the two combos available. These are the Oulton Blue Gloss exterior with Mars Red and Ebony bi-tone leather interior or the Crystal Gray Gloss with Navy Blue and Ebony. Inspired by the classic racers and matching the E-Type Project ZP Collection, they are offered in a premiere on the F-Type model.

Regardless of which colorway they choose, all cars feature the same styling tweaks. These include the Porcelain White Gloss racing-style roundels that were painted by hand on the doors and the same hue applied to the grille surround. Glossy black accents further decorate the exterior of the limited edition sports car, which comes with 20-inch forged alloys and special branding on the fenders.

Additional special touches can be found on the inside, including a special SV Bespoke commissioning plaque that reads 'One of 150.' This is a clear reference to the number of cars that will see the light of day in 2024, as Jaguar plans to limit the production number of the F-Type ZP Edition to only 150 units. Thus, interested parties better place a deposit soon to make sure they secure a build slot.

Jaguar's final ode to the F-Type builds on the P575 AWD model, meaning that it retains the same V8 engine. The lump, which is a 5.0-liter supercharged unit coupled with an eight-speed automatic 'box and all-wheel drive, produces 575 metric horses – hence the name, translating to 567 bhp or 423 kilowatts, and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque.

According to the official spec sheet, the Jaguar F-Type P575 AWD takes 3.5 seconds to hit sixty mph (97 kph) from a standstill and will do the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in 3.7 seconds. The top speed is 186 mph (300 kph). The WLTP combined fuel economy is 25.3-24.8 mpg-US (9.3-9.5 l/100 km), and it emits 212-218 g/km of carbon dioxide.

The British automaker hasn't released the pricing details nor the market availability of the F-Type ZP Edition. In the United States, the F-Type R75 Coupe, which uses the same supercharged V8 with AWD, has an MSRP of $113,000. The lesser R-Dynamic and 75 start at $77,900 and $89,900, respectively.
