Unlike the BMW brand vehicles sold in the US, MINI’s models recorded a worrying 12.8 percent decrease in sales over the last month, compared to last year.
In November, MINI USA reported sales of 4,575 cars, compared to the 5,248 units sold in 2012. Fortunately, on a year-to-date comparison, MINI sales in the US are up 0.4 percent, adding up to 59,910 cars, merely 243 more.
As for the pre-owned MINI vehicles, the US branch of the company reported the best November ever, selling 1,936 automobiles, an increase of 46.8 percent from the 1,319 units sold in the same month of 2012. On a year-to-date comparison, the first 11 months of 2013 proved to be a lot better for CPO cars, reaching a total sales increase of 21.3 percent, adding up to 20,079 units compared to 16,552 units over the same period of last year.
