It seems like things are really looking up for MINI too, as the sales for September are coming in and they are better than hoped for. The MINI Brand recorded a sale increase of 8.3 percent too, just like BMW did, posting the best September sales in history, in the US.
MINI USA claims that in the ninth month of the year, 5,306 of their automobiles were sold, recording an increase of 407 units over the same month of last year. Therefore, the year-to-date sales of MINI in the States grew overall by 2.3 percent on volume, adding up to 49,635 units, compared to 48,531 units sold in the same period of 2012.

“September was unusual because of significantly fewer selling days than August, so the more than 8% increase for BMW and another record month for MINI are further fueling BMW Group momentum going into the final quarter of the year,” said Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO, BMW of North America.
