It seems like the bet MINI took on adding more diversity to its line-up is paying off, with sales numbers proving it beyond a doubt. With the help of new models such as the Paceman and Countryman, MINI sales reached another record breaking level in October.
In total, 25,420 vehicles were sold worldwide in October, a 3.8 percent increase over the same month of last year, despite facing worrying times in Europe and even the US, where sales went down 3.2 percent.
Year-to-date, MINI sold 249,702 cars worldwide, recording a 0.8 percent increase overall. With the new model coming out next week, it was only natural that sales would be slow, most people waiting for the Mk3 MINI to make a decision.
However, with the brand new Cooper, sales are bound to grow even further, 2014 showing even greater promise, at the moment.
