Unfortunately for the BMW Group, the MINI sales in October were disappointing. The MINI brand automobiles recorded a sales decrease of 3.2 percent in the previous month, unlike what was expected.
Overall 5,700 MINI cars were sold in the 10th month of the year, 188 less than in the same month of 2012. As far as year-to-date numbers go, the sales are still up by 1.7 percent on volume, adding up to 55,335 units compared to 54,419 in 2012.

However, the MINI Pre-Owned vehicles are still on higher demand, recording a smashing 30.4 percent increase compared to last year. 1,962 units were sold through the certified pre-owned program, compared to the 1,505 sold in October 2012. Over the first 10 months, the MINI used cars sales grew by 19.1 percent reaching a total of 18,143 units.
