These days, expecting to enjoy the full comfort of a cozy home while traveling is the norm rather than the exception. The tiny living movement is going strong, and with designs such as this beautiful abode with a porch, it's easy to leave conventional housing behind.
The Pinnacle takes the best out of traditional housing, which is uncompromising comfort and premium elegance. At the same time, it's designed to become a lightweight, compact alternative that can be towed easily, that can travel, and that is easy and affordable to maintain. With tiny house models such as this one, downsizing becomes a breeze – it's like enjoying all the perks of a classic American home, only on a smaller scale.

This elegant-looking abode comes from yet another family-owned business born out of a strong passion for sustainability and freedom. Bold people who have changed their own lives for the better and then helped others make their dreams come true as well are the ones who are changing the world slowly but surely, one tiny house at a time.

In addition to that, the dwellings built by Great Lakes Tiny Homes have a beautiful source of inspiration. The founders traveled extensively in the Midwest, fully enjoying the great outdoors, and then poured everything they had gained in terms of experience into the homes they built, including the names. The company itself has two locations, central Michigan and northeastern Ohio, where it's committed to expanding this housing revolution. There's nothing better than becoming the owner of a sustainable, mobile house that reflects and respects your local environment in all aspects.

Back to the Pinnacle, this is a comfy tiny that mimics the style and layout of a classic home. It's not out-of-the-box, quirky, or too flashy. Instead, it exudes understated elegance and modern minimalism with a couple of accents that add character. Everything starts with harmonious proportions. The Pinnacle is more than 20 feet long (22 feet/6.7 meters) and boasts a generous width of 8.6 feet (2.6 meters). This length makes it one of the most compact options when it comes to homes on wheels, which also translates to some of the most affordable pricing.

Still, despite its minimal footprint, the Pinnacle flaunts an adorable, traditional-style porch. Tiny homes with built-in porches are not easy to find. This is a generous four-foot (1.2 meters) covered porch with a traditional design, which connects the tiny home with the outdoors in a classic way. It also acts as an extension of the interior living space, which makes this tiny seem more welcoming and spacious.

High-quality wood and other materials are also a key part of the home's classic style and premium durability. On the outside, it shows off its well-crafted siding and metal roof. Inside, it reveals white MDF boards throughout, creating a beautiful contrast to the black birch kitchen cabinets – an unusual option. The combination of white, black, and dark natural wood is part of the signature style of traditional homes, and it creates a peaceful, welcoming ambiance inside the Pinnacle.

Boasting just 153 square feet (14.2 square meters) of floor space, this house on wheels can only accommodate one or two people. Its lovely simplicity also means, among other things, that there's no classic staircase. Instead, the loft bedroom is accessed via a simple ladder that can be stowed away in order to save space. This might be the only downside in terms of comfort – most people aren't fans of climbing up and down a ladder every day; still, it's one of those small compromises that come with a truly compact house on wheels.

The good news is that the bedroom, though, is not a cramped, dark loft. First of all, it's beautifully built with high-quality flooring, solid walls, and generous walk-around space. Secondly, the double windows on each side add lots of brightness and bring in the outdoors in the form of lovely views. A partial open-work railing on each side was added instead of a full protection wall that would have blocked out the view of the ground floor. They create a sense of openness and connection with the rest of the house, as well as the visual illusion of added spaciousness.

The main floor houses a beautiful central kitchen, an elegant bathroom hidden behind a decorative barn door, and a generous lounging area. Although small, the Pinnacle managed to squeeze in a dedicated storage nook between the kitchen and the bathroom. It features two large closets for personal items and other stuff, and it's a great way of adding storage without cluttering the lounge or looking too obvious.

The Pinnacle's tiny, discrete windows match its dainty elegance, as well as the rustic-style stove sitting between the kitchen and the living area. These cozy elements are a perfect complement to the outside classic porch, ramping up the home's traditional comfort.

A compact tiny such as this 22-footer also comes with the advantage of affordable pricing, starting at just $61,200. Whether it's the beginning of someone's journey or a comfortable companion after retirement, this chic tiny home comes fully prepared for a cozy lifestyle.
