It’s not every day we get to see a big collection of supercars under the same roof, but when we do the sight is one to remember. And such a sight will be visible this September at the hands of auction house Bonhams.
The organization will be assembling a group of supercars the likes of which we haven’t seen all year, for a no reserve sale in the Swiss region of Geneva.
The auction will take place at the Bonmont Golf & Country Club on September 29 and will see no less than 25 of the rarest supercars the world has ever seen go under the hammer, possibly making both sellers and buyers happy.
According to Bonhams, the list of goodies include car made by Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes-Maybach and Porsche. But there are a few in the pack that clearly stand out.
The rarest of them all is the Koenigsegg One:1, of which only six were ever made. The model on sale has been driven for only 597 km (371 miles) and will sell for an estimated €2 million ($2.26 million).
Also extremely rare is the Aston Martin One 77, the 35th car produced in the limited run of 77 units. This vehicle is expected to fetch €1.6 million ($1.8 million).
The Lamborghini Veneno in roadster guise is expected to sell the highest, at €5 million($5.6 million)
Bugatti’s Veyron 16.4 will also be on the block with 4,800 km on the odometer (3,000 miles) and an estimated price tag of €800,000 ($904,000). The Ferrari LaFerrari will also be on sale for €2,5 million and 1,000 km driven (621 miles).
Another worth mentioning entry is the iconic McLaren P1, the hybrid sports car of which only 375 were made. This vehicle is expected to fetch €1,6 million at the auction.
According to Bonhams, all the cars are being sold by the State of Geneva, but not before potential buyers are offered the chance of two days of viewing.
