Lamborghini has been opening a gazillion dealerships throughout the year. The latest is in Ho Chi Minh City, the most populous in Vietnam.
The brand-new showroom is located in a luxury hotel, the Hilton Saigon in District 1, which is the cultural and financial center of the city. The move comes to celebrate 60 years of the brand. The Lamborghini Urus Performante is on display there as guests are invited into an immersive 3D art experience.
An exclusive commissioned digital artwork titled 'Lamborghini: Boundless Ingenuity, Timeless Legacy' and inspired by the brand's 60th anniversary, was unveiled during the Grand Opening of the dealership in Ho Chi Minh.
A local digital studio made the 3D animation while popular DJ Larria took care of the musical backdrop, all creating a multi-sensory experience for the guests. They also enjoyed a visual spectacle that documented the story of the brand for the first 60 years on the market.
Lamborghini took an Urus Performante to Vietnam to exhibit it at the new dealerhisp. The top-of-the-line variant is powered by the same 4.0-liter V8 of the standard Urus but with a twist, generating 657 horsepower (666 PS) and 626 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque for a run from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 3.3 seconds. The needle of the odometer goes as far as 190 mph (306 kph).
At the opening ceremony, guests had the opportunity to discover how the Super SUV performs with visual representations that show the model’s capabilities on street, track, and rough surfaces.
Furthermore, the all-new showroom provides a 360-degree client experience in a space defined by polygons, sharp edges and diffused light and color. The center also includes an Ad Personal customization room, where those who order a Lamborghini can see and touch the materials and see the colors before choosing their favorite. Soft leathers and carbon fiber are on the menu.
As bizarre as a Lamborghini showroom in Ho Chi Min may sound in this (sometimes ignorant) part of the world, the city is Vietnam’s most populous, with over nine million residents. Lamborghini noticed the potential of the area. Francesco Scardaoni, Region Director at Automobile Lamborghini Asia Pacific, points out that there is a growing demand for the brand in the area. So, opening a showroom in the city was the next logical step for the Italian brand. Furthermore, the Vietnamese car market is growing, with VinFast delivering cars to both America and Europe.
At the new dealership, customers can also choose fashion items from the Collezione and Accessori Original lineup. The showroom is open every day from 9:00 to 18:00.
