A car that has one horsepower per each kilogram is not just cool because of the technical assets that ratio offers. The One:1 ratio, such as that offered by the homonymous Koenigsegg flagship model launched earlier this year, also sounds a bit like poetry. Well, the Swedish carmaker wanted to demonstrate this at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, so they brought a pair of One:1s and started writing.
One of the Koenigseggs was dressed in Silver, while the other one came in full-carbon livery. Probably being eager to show that its hue is just as good as the aforementioned wonder material, the Silver One:1 put on quite a show within the confinements of Goodwood’s haystacks.

None of the donuts or burnouts the Silver One:1 performed are reserved to vehicles with such outstanding numbers backing them up, but who care about this when the spectacle is so intense?

The clip below, which comes from Youtube user Shmee150, takes us straight into the heart of the hill climb hoon action. And by that we mean details like the Koenigsegg donuts being filmed from inside a Pagani Huayra.

We’ll remind you the Swedes will only build six units of the One:1, the aforementioned two included. As for that power to weight ratio, it all translates into a Megawatt of power (1,341 PS) and 1,341 kg (2,956 lbs), with some 1,371 Nm (1,1011 lb-ft) waiting to offer assistance.

The mechanical madness is aerodynamically augmented via generously-sized elements placed around the hypercar. As a result of this, Koenigsegg’s One:1 can generate 830 kg (lbs) of downforce. That happens at 440 km/h (273 mph) and while the top speed hasn’t been announced yet, it is expected to top that value.
