Even though full-size pickup trucks are the standard in the United States, this segment is niche in the Old Continent. Heck, you can’t even buy such a vehicle in Europe through official channels, but some companies are much obliged to import them. And tune ‘em up, as it is the case with GME and the Ram 1500.
GME stands for German Motors & Engineering, and the Bigfoot Edition packs 550 horsepower from a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with a thumpin’ great supercharger bolted onto the engine. And of course, both the compressor and aftermarket exhaust system are approved by the TUV.

An air-water-air intercooler and an electric refrigerant have also been added to menu, and according to GME, the Edelbrock supercharger can be tuned to 900 horsepower if the owner wishes so. The exhaust system, meanwhile, runs two 76-millimeter pipes from the catalytic converter.

As you can tell from the photo gallery, the Bigfoot Edition lives up to the name thanks to a 24-centimeter lift kit. Towering up to 2.15 meters, the truck rides on 37-inch Toyo off-road tires, 20-inch forged wheels, and height-adjustable Fox suspension struts with external oil pans.

The 2.23-meter track makes the pickup a bit wide for European roads. Even a mid-size model such as the Ford Ranger feels big on a B-road in the Old Continent. In the center of a populous city like Berlin, it would be hard even to find a parking spot for the Bigfoot Edition.

Moving on to the headlights, GME has converted the headlights to xenon technology. The white paintwork, on the other hand, contrasts like a charm with the black accents and inserts.

Automatic running boards, wheel arch extensions with a bolt-on look, and a bed cover are also featured. On the flip side, German Motors & Engineering didn’t do a thing to the interior, which is exactly as the pickup left the assembly line in Warren, Michigan.
