This is probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. An exclusive Ferrari that the customers battled for when La Scuderia unveiled it around four years ago, ended up on the used car market less than two years after the model rolled off the production line in Maranello.
The SF90 Stradale was unveiled in 2019 as Ferrari's first plug-in hybrid, with a powertrain derived from that of the SF90 Formula One car, with the’ 90’ as a tribute to the motor racing division’s 90th anniversary.

The powertrain integrates the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 769 horsepower (780 metric horsepower) and working alongside three electric motors, which bring along 217 horsepower (220 metric horsepower).

One of the three is integrated into the transmission, and each of the other two operates one of the front wheels in an all-wheel drive setup. Those two motors also help the car move backward, as the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission does not have a reversing gear. Together, the V8 and the e-motors generate 986 horsepower (1,000 metric horsepower).

Those are the figures that make the SF90 Stradale the most powerful street-legal Ferrari. We still have to wait until the first full electric Ferrari hits the road, which will probably happen sometime next year.

A lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 7.9 kWh stores enough energy provided by the regenerative braking, which is controlled via a brake-by-wire system that splits braking between the hydraulic system and the electric motors. The battery enables the car to drive in full electric mode as far as 16 miles (26 kilometers). That makes it the first-ever street-legal Ferrari to drive on electric power only.

It is the case for this Ferrari SF90 Stradale that we have right here. It is a model that rolled off the production line in Maranello, Italy, in mid-2022, which is less than two years ago.

A customer from New Jersey ordered it as new and drove it home. They parked it in the garage and pretty much left it there, adding only 100 miles (161 kilometers) in almost two years. That's not even grocery shopping once per month. And by the way that it looks, it surely isn't a car to shy away from the crowd.

The 2022 Ferrari SF90 Straddle is painted in Ferrari's most popular paintwork, the Rosso Corsa, over the Cuoio leather upholstery. The hood, front and rear bumpers, side splitters, rear diffuser, and underbody covers are made from carbon fiber.

A two-piece rear wing adds the necessary downforce as part of a drag-reduction system, which also integrates vents, ducts, and underbody vortex generators. There are black ceramic exhaust pipes at the rear.

The model rides on 20-inch forged diamond-finished wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires of 255/35/R20 at the front and 315/30/R20 at the rear, with red-painted calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors in all four corners.

The Scuderia Ferrari shield shows up on the fenders. The car is equipped with the AFS lighting system, which directs the beam according to the direction of the corner in order to provide the best light intensity for improved visibility. The car is equipped with the optional front suspension lift, which helps it get over speed bumps easier.

The cabin is full of leather and carbon fiber. There are power-adjustable bucket seats in Cuoio leather with red accents and the Ferrari prancing horse stitched into the headrests. Meanwhile, the driver benefits from the presence of Apple CarPlay connectivity and navigation.

The steering wheel is trimmed in carbon fiber and leather and sports carbon-fiber paddle shifters. The manettino is the rotary switch located beneath the steering wheel that allows the driver to adjust the traction control, suspension, electronic diff, and gearbox according to their preferences.

The electrochromic rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, and leather and Alcantara carpets and floor mats are also options that the first owner of the car asked for.

Something must have happened over the next two years, and the first owner decided to have their last time with the red Ferrari. The car goes with a window sticker, the manufacturer's literature, a car cover, and a clean New Jersey title. The CarFax report shows no accidents or damage, listing a single owner in New Jersey. That owner performed an oil change on the car in August 2023.

A brand-new Ferrari SF90 Stradale is at least a half-a-million-dollar affair. But considering the exclusivity of the already sold-out model, the price is only going up from this moment on. This 2022 SF90 Stradale was listed on Bring a Trailer. With nine days to go until the auction ends, the model sits at $412,900.

There is still time for it to go over the half-a-million-dollar mark. Back in 2022, one sold for an eye-watering $772,000. And that one was also painted in Rosso Corsa. It is obvious that some of the 799 Ferrari customers who bought an SF90 Stradale were planning to cash in early.
