Treat yo self, if you can afford it. David and Victoria Beckham are definitely in a position in which they can indulge whatever fantasy they have, especially if it ends up being beneficial for the entire family.
And that's exactly what their new superyacht is all about: good quality family time. There's a rumor making the rounds in UK tabloid media that David may have quietly upgraded his gorgeous – and brand new – Riva yacht to an even more gorgeous, bigger, and more luxurious superyacht. No offense to Riva because this one is from the same yard.
In late 2021, Beckham took delivery of a Riva Argo 90 yacht that he later named Seven as a tribute to his lucky number. Compared to many other celebrity-owned or celebrity-chartered vessels, this one was puny by comparison: just 94 feet (28.55 meters) in total length, with no pool, and definitely not that "floating mansion" vibe that most one-percenters seem to love.
But the Beckhams loved it and continued using it regularly for the following months whenever they got a few days off their busy schedules.
The new yachting season has already kicked off, and the Beckhams have already been spotted chilling on Seven in Miami.
The problem with that is that it doesn't seem to be the same Seven of last year, but a bigger, taller yacht. It's a proper superyacht, to be more accurate, the Riva 130 Bellissima flagship, introduced a short while ago with a description that really says it all: "a superlative boat, in both name and fact."
If Beckham had paid a reported $6.5 million on the Argo 90 yacht, this one would have cost him much more, as the 130 Bellissima starts at around $20.1 million before any custom touches. But for this kind of money, you get 131 feet (40 meters) of superyacht, four lavish decks, a pool and the most gorgeous outdoor lounge, and beautiful interiors with plenty of socializing and relaxation areas.
The 130 Bellissima is still a family vessel but on a much larger scale. It offers accommodation for 10 guests across one lavish owner suite and four spacious VIP rooms. Because of its larger size, it's also what you might call a suitable replacement for a starter yacht: a superyacht for a now-experienced owner.
Power for the 130 Bellissima flagship comes from dual MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines with 2,638 hp each, and top speed is an impressive 22.5 knots (26 mph/41.6 kph). It's slightly slower than the Argo 90 model, but it makes up for that with a longer range: 1,000 nautical miles (1,151 miles/1,852 km) at a leisure speed of 11 knots (12.6 mph/20 kph), or 360 nautical miles (414 miles/667 km) at a brisker 20 knots (23 mph/37 kph).
