The hunt for the perfect travel trailer or RV seems to be a never-ending struggle. However, some manufacturers do come close, and one of those crews is Cruiser RV. The machine? The one and only Twilight, a family-loving lineup with a little bit of everything.
If the name Cruiser RV rings a bell, it's because we've featured this crew's work before. It's possible you've met their Hitch already, but if you haven't, then this article on Twilight should give you enough info to figure out if this crew is for you.

Now, Cruiser is a rather new kid on the block compared to long-standing giants like Airstream, Winnebago, and Jayco, but the fact that they're still going strong today is a testament to their attention to their customers. All that brings us to the Twilight, which, mind you, is a family-oriented camper.

However, the real takeaway here is that the largest floorplan this crew offers can be found selling for around $50K, and that's for a new 2024 model. Might I add that the 31BH floorplan also accommodates over nine people? Come to think of it, let's use it as the unit that encompasses all this lineup has to offer, the proverbial flagship if you will. Smaller units can be found at around $35K (€32,750 at current exchange rates).

What's important to note here is that this thing is massive, coming in with a length of nearly 36.5 ft (11.1 m) and a tad over 8 ft (2.4 m) wide. It's also over 11 ft (3.3 m) tall and weighs as much as 9,722 lbs (4,410 kg), so you're going to need a rather capable vehicle to tow it along. Still, it's surprisingly light for a travel trailer that can be a home away from home for over nine guests.

At this stage, I would normally take you on a tour of the interior of the 31BH; we're actually going to start our tour outside the unit. Why? Simply because Cruiser RV has included an outdoor galley setup where you can grill it up for the whole family without needing to lug around a grill, mobile sink, or any other piece of hardware. This feature is only shared with one other floorplan, the 25BH. Oh, and if you're wondering what BH stands for, it's 'bunkhouse.'

Still, we can't go inside just yet. Once you've found that spot you're looking to call home for the next few weeks, you'll first need to activate the slideouts each Twilight has in store. In the case of the 31BH, there are two such features, and upon them, a dinette and theater seating, and the other a futon and top bunk. Now we can head inside.

Upon entering the 31BH, you'll find yourself in the center of all this unit's action, with the master bedroom to the right, ready with a king sliding bed, and to the left, the kitchen and the remainder of the unit. Straight ahead, on the other hand, is that dinette and theater seating I mentioned.

Toward the rear of the 31BH, we'll also pass a bathroom on the left, which has its own separate entrance from outside, a pantry on the right, and finally, the guest or children's bedroom, part of which is shared with the outdoor kitchen as it's an inset feature. This space can also be closed off from the rest of the unit in case you're entertaining some guests and need some peace and quiet.

As you explore the Twilight, be sure to take note of interior features and systems like an air fryer over, range hood, solid surface countertops, cooktops, and all that wood that makes up the cabinetry and storage bays.

It's also important to note that the Twilight is more of a park-ready unit. While it doesn't come with generator prep or solar panels, 30 A shore power is enough to keep heat and water flowing for all nine or more guests. If you're planning on traveling around during the colder months, insulated and heated tanks are a step in the right direction. This particular floorplan places 46 gals (174 l) of freshwater at your family's disposal.

The remaining units are no less capable and homey than this one either, but some of them do include fewer features and accommodate smaller groups and families. For example, the 25BH does away with the theater seating and the futon included in the 31BH, and the 21RB is the smallest of the four units in place. The last of the bunch, the 26RB, positions itself somewhere between the other three, a sort of hybrid model.

For the next minute or so, take a break from your life and picture yourself in the presence of such a machine. See yourself tending to the grill while the kids are running around like the wild animals they are, the grandparents are kicking back in the shade, and your favorite tune can be heard in the background: not some jam on the radio, but nature itself. Remember to take lots of photos.
