It's no wonder why this impeccable-looking gooseneck is described as The Star; it boasts the full mobility of a road-legal travel trailer while providing incredible functionality that could rival that of any contemporary dwelling. The Stella raises the bar with an awesome fold-down terrace and an amazing layout with an elevated office, a separate dining area, and a lavish loft bedroom.
There are many ways to add exterior decks to homes on wheels, from the more classic full-length options to the rooftop terraces that also come in many shapes and sizes. Porches can be integrated as a built-in rear extension and can also come in a fold-down form, typically to the side of the house. The Stella boasts a somewhat unusual solution: a fold-down balcony connected to its gooseneck section.

This unusual design combines the benefits of a classic porch with those of an elevated terrace. The fact that it's foldable keeps the travel trailer compact and compliant with the regulations for road travel. There's no need for handrails, protection walls, or other add-ons. This is a basic yet surprisingly spacious outdoor solution that offers 50 square feet (4.6 square meters) of space for al-fresco entertainment.

If this weren't impressive enough, this clever drop-down porch also connects with the home's elevated office. Imagine being able to take a break from work and enjoy a snack or a coffee out on the balcony – all of this from the privacy and comfort of your own home. It just doesn't get more modern than that. At the same time, this ingenious design allows people in the home to enjoy different activities without getting in each other's personal space, which is a rare treat when it comes to tiny homes. Somebody could be working in the office while others are having a drink on the terrace, watching TV in the downstairs lounge, or reading in the loft lounge.

This loft lounge is another fabulous amenity offered by this clever home. We're talking about a wonderfully spacious loft bedroom (98 square feet/9.1 square meters) that's big enough to include its own relaxation/seating area. The bedroom section features a comfy queen-size bed with a huge skylight above that makes it luxurious.

The other section reveals a cozy lounge setup that would be perfect for enjoying some alone time away from all the noise and activity downstairs. Beautiful, big windows keep this entire loft area filled with natural light, while full-height protection rails on each side ensure safety and help create an intimate ambiance.

Another thing that makes this gooseneck supremely functional is the massive amount of storage within its compact frame. A lot of time, tiny homes can fail to provide storage that's compatible with long-term accommodation. The Stella goes all out with clever solutions, seamlessly integrated all throughout the home. It starts right at the entrance, with a slim but tall wardrobe next to the door. The lounge area boasts overhead full-length shelves for smaller items. The kitchen boasts a classic design with multiple cupboards, shelves, and additional storage under the staircase.

More storage is cleverly integrated upstairs. The bedroom reveals spacious cabinets in the seating area, while the elevated office comes with a full-size wardrobe. This modern office is beautifully connected with both the drop-down porch and the cozy lounge area downstairs. Although ideally suited for office work, it's versatile enough to be configured in various ways, depending on the owners' preferences.

As a gooseneck, The Stella offers the benefit of high ceilings (the shiplap design is a nice touch style-wise) and generous accommodation. Even the downstairs bathroom reveals a beautiful vaulted ceiling and several windows, which add up to maximum luminosity and a sense of spaciousness that's rare when it comes to tiny home bathrooms.

This cleverly designed gooseneck basically offers all the living spaces of a comfy, contemporary home. This includes a separate dining area. It's not big or too fancy, but it works. It's actually a part of the kitchen that incorporates the cooktop. Instead of a traditional countertop, it boasts a floating wooden bar that makes room for a couple of chairs.

It's also conveniently close to the lounge area, and it could be used as a snack bar. Extreme attention to detail is also reflected in the tiny shelves mounted above this dining nook – every inch of space was used to add functionality, even though the result remains airy, luminous, and clutter-free.

The Stella offers a total of 438 square feet, with pricing starting at just under $110,000. It's one of the beautiful travel trailers available at Utopian Villas, a Wisconsin-based builder that also makes gorgeous park-model tiny homes. All goosenecks are known to offer comfortable interiors, but the Stella takes it up a notch by adding a fabulous fold-down terrace that invites folks to enjoy the outdoors and take in the view without sacrificing one drop of comfort.
