This Fancy Camper Van Will Blow You Away With Its Interior, Now for Sale for a Fortune

Many people consider spending the same amount of money that would buy you an apartment on a camper van pretty crazy. However, I believe it all depends on what you need it for and how you will use it.

The rig I'm checking out today is the Bam Van from Limitless Van, a North Bonneville, Washington-based company specializing in premium Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit conversions.

Limitless Van offers two pre-built floorplans for its conversions: Juniper (for the Ford Transit 148" Long and Mercedes Sprinter 144" models) and Gifford (for the Ford Transit 148" Extended and Mercedes Sprinter 170" models). Today's conversion is based on the latter.

By the way, this camper van is currently for sale. I'll share its price tag at the end of the article, as I don't want the info to change how you view this van.

The base vehicle of the Bam Van is a 2023 AWD Sprinter with a 170" wheelbase. It sports an inline 4, 2.0-liter engine outputting 211 hp, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

I'll start the tour with the exterior features, which are plentiful on this rig. It rides on striking 17" Agile Off-Road rims wrapped in beefy 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires. What's more, the vehicle's off-road capabilities were improved via a Van Compass Stage 6.3 suspension kit consisting of a mini leaf spring pack, Falcon front and rear shocks, and front Sump Springs.

These upgrades offer a huge increase in traction and ground clearance while improving the ride quality and reducing body sway.

At the front, it sports a CAtuned bumper complete with Ruby LED lights and a 12,000-lb (5,443-kg) Warn winch. On the bottom, you'll notice a Limitless Van skid plate with access panels for changing the vehicle's oil.

Moving to the sides, you'll discover a Limitless Van ladder with an accessory mount holding Maxxtrax traction boards. Moreover, the company fitted Vanspeed Capsules on both sides, which increased the interior's width by 8 inches (20 centimeters) each.

Then, at the rear, there's a ladder/spare tire carrier combo with another accessory mount holding an axe, a shovel, and a canister. Climb on top, and you'll discover a Limitless Van Safari rack housing a Fiamma manual awning, 300 W solar panels, and six Baja Designs LP6 lights at the front.

Slide the main door open, and you'll notice part of the entrance is blocked off by a kitchen counter. What's more, Limitless Van created a flip-down table with a panel that can be removed and replaced by a small isobutane stove if you want to cook outside.

Step inside, and a finely crafted interior will surround you. Due to its cozy aesthetic and warm ambiance, you'll instantly feel at home. The builders opted for beautiful dark blue cabinetry for the kitchen paired with beige walls and upper cabinets, as well as perfectly positioned dimmable lights.

The two-tone ceiling combines bamboo panels and fabric, the floor has 2tec2 woven vinyl panels, and the walls are finished with Nassimi fabric.

There's more to this van than meets the eye. In addition to making it visually pleasing, Limitless Van ensured it had proper four-season insulation. Specifically, the company used 3M Thinsulate for the walls and ceiling and minicell foam for the floor. What's more, the interior is soundproof due to Soundskins deadening material.

Now, let's take a closer look at the interior features, starting with the driver's cabin. You'll see that the original Sprinter seats were replaced with stunning Scheelmann swivel seats with armrests, which have fabric that matches the other seats in the van. Furthermore, above, you'll discover a Limitless Van headliner shelf that offers enough space to store bulky items.

Dead ahead of the entrance, Limitless Van devised a seating area comprising two benches with a Lagun table in between. Both benches have storage underneath, but you can also store stuff in the two overhead cabinets above.

The kitchen features a two-burner induction stove, an Isotherm fridge/freezer, a deep stainless steel sink with an extendable gold faucet, and a microwave. One distinctive feature is a wine glass holder that uses magnets to make sure the glasses don't fly off.

If the long Fenix countertop doesn't offer enough space, you can use a sizeable flip-up countertop extension with a built-in cutting board. Moreover, the kitchen has plenty of storage options, including many drawers, a pull-out pantry, and two overhead cabinets.

You'll find the rig's control panel right by the entrance, above the sink. It consists of a Cerbo GX monitor, a removable Garmin display, a Rixen controller for heating, and two dimmable light switches.

Opposite the rear part of the kitchen, Limitless Van added a spacious bathroom. It boasts a shower with gold fittings, a slide-out Laveo dry-flush toilet, a shampoo/soar holder, and a zip-up waterproof door.

On the left side of the bathroom door, you'll notice four drawers, one of which doubles as a step to get into bed. A small countertop and an overhead cabinet are above them.

Finally, we have the bedroom at the rear. As I mentioned earlier, the two Vanspeed Capsules increase the width of the bedroom to a total of 79 inches (200 centimeters). What's more, both have slide-screen windows.

This isn't your run-of-the-mill bedroom – here's what makes it very practical. Long story short, it's made up of three parts – two lateral ones and one in the middle. The middle one can be lifted for easier access to the garage underneath or for whenever you need to store taller items. Furthermore, the lateral parts can be flipped up for easier access to the utility systems.

But that's not it – the middle part also has two separate panels, one toward the front and one at the rear. With this setup, you can transform the bed into a couch, either facing inside or outside the van, depending on which panel you lift. Other notable bedroom features are a Sirocco swivel fan, two overhead cabinets, and a ceiling A/C.

The garage can also be accessed from inside the van through a partition door or from the outside by opening the two rear doors. In the middle, Limitless Van fitted a large pull-out tray on heavy-duty slides for more convenient storage. There's also an ARB air pump that allows you to adjust the tire pressure easily.

On the driver's side, you'll find the 24 V electrical system made using Victron components. Its highlights are 10 kWh batteries (equivalent to 800 Ah of 12 V batteries) and a 3,000 W inverter/charger. The system can be charged in three ways: via solar power, shore power, or while driving through a DC-DC charger.

The box on the opposite side houses the water system. It comprises a 32-gallon (121-liter) freshwater tank and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. By the way, the water used in this rig drains into a 21-gallon (79-liter) under-mounted greywater tank.

Limitless Van also mounted an accessory panel to the rear left doot, which comes with L-Tracks and can support a small table.

Overall, I'm impressed with this well-thought-out camper van – Limitless Van nailed this tiny home on wheels, both regarding aesthetics and functionality.

As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, this rig is now for sale. You'll need to spend a whopping $295,000 (€274,416) to get your hands on it. That's a lot however you look at it, but you get a durable and adventure-ready mobile home that is ready to take you deep off the grid.

Sure, most people won't be willing to pay that much, but the investment might make sense for the big-budget shoppers looking to buy a high-end camper van that has it all.
