Let's face it. If you're like me, the chances of affording a yacht or superyacht in this lifetime may seem like nothing more than a dream. Luckily for you, I am a dreamer, and this next one is sure to surprise; the Living Life 3 may just be the yachting deal of the month.
What is the "Yachting deal of the month?" Simply put, in my search for amazing floating havens, I sometimes encounter ships or yachts that, through the wonders of mathematics, seem attainable for the average Joe like myself.

That said, this month's deal finds is traveling to Fort Lauderdale. It's here that we find Living Life 3 (LL3), hanging out in some bay and asking its future owners no more than $2.8M (€2.6M at current exchange rates) to own; that's a number that can surely be negotiated.

While $2.8M is sure to sound like a life's worth of cash - it is - the fact that LL3 can accommodate up to eight guests means that you can split that bill in eight ways. That gives us an asking price of no more than $350K per person. I don't know about you, but there are some of us who own RVs and motorhomes worth more than $350K. The question is, what are we getting for this sort of cash?

Well, LL3 was born back in 2014 and created by none other than world-renowned Ferretti Yachts, the one and the same that's been around for over 50 years and catered to hundreds, if not thousands, of clients over the course of their lifetime. There aren't a whole lot of crews that can make that kind of statement.

Now, in yacht years, to be then years old is like a pre-teen who's just getting the hang of what this world has to offer and what its own body can achieve. What I mean to say is that the LL3 is a rather young craft, and according to Northrop & Johnson, one of the brokers for this deal, it's in great condition with just 1,700 hours of use. Two MTU M94 engines are the powerhouse behind the magic, responsible for a top speed of 30 knots (35 mph), which, considering this thing is 81 ft (24.7 m) long, is quite a whole lot.

Starting with the exterior of this beauty, it's the upper deck that guests will most likely end up using most often, soaking up rays like the sun-loving lizards we are. It's here that we find a large lounge/bar with a massive U-shaped dinette, a sun pad, and a flybridge. If things get too heated, the superstructure above has a flexible bimini that provides precious shade.

Heading down the LL3, the main deck first provides a rear alfresco lounge where drinks and meals can be enjoyed, while the front of the ship includes yet another lounge, ready with a large bed in front of the wheelhouse and a dinette with a removable umbrella.

Yet, it's the lowest deck that I find most attractive. Here, we find the LL3's beach club, and while it may come across as one of the smaller such spaces I've written about, this baby's beach club is large enough for a couple of lounge chairs. Still, there's also a toy garage where a SeaDoo Spark is included in your purchase.

As for the interior of this bad boy, the LL3 main salon is well-lit with sweeping windows along the hull, and while it may not seem like the most feature-packed ship around, leather seats, semiprecious metal accents, and wood panels and flooring invite us to just sit around and just live life. Oh, now I get the ship's name.

The lowest deck aboard the LL3 belongs to nothing more than the staterooms, of which there are four. Here, the same color tones as the main lounge are used once again, as are materials, too. If you've pulled the long straw and happen to find yourself in the master suite, a king-size bed waits for you and your significant other, and an ensuite bathroom ensures you can sit around in your room hungover from the night before for as long as you want.

The other guest rooms aren't that bad either, and I wouldn't mind drawing the short straw. While the less fortunate guests - as we can even say that if you're on a yacht - will have access to rooms that are smaller, they're no less welcoming, so don't worry about who's passing out where. Even the bunk room looks pretty neat; grab a book and catch up on your reading.

Honestly, we could sit here and talk about every inch of the LL3 but it won't change a dang thing; you'll still be looking at it from behind a screen. That said, the best way to see if the yacht is for you is to head down to Fort Lauderdale and simply step aboard what could be your future home. Just think of your seven closest and most-loved humans, send them this article, and go from there.
