BMW Motorrad Sales Up 23.4 Percent in the US

Unexpected development in the US for BMW's Motorrad division. In October, total sales for the 2-wheeled machines from Munich reached a total of 1,067 units, a 23.4 percent increase compared to the total of 865 motorcycles sold in the same month of the previous year.
The Maxi scooter segment grey by 73 percent in October whilst the F-Series middleweight machines increased by 61 percent reaching 219 units delivered. At the same time, the G-Series were similar to last year with 56 units sold.

The 2014 R 1200 GSW model helped the sales of the R-Series models reach a growth of 52 percent therefore making the water-cooled boxer model the best selling BMW motorcycle in the previous month with 314 units.

The super bike sales were also on the rise reaching a 4 percent increase with a total of 142 HP4 and S1000 RR models sold and delivered in October. For more details check the attached press release.
