As we hit November, it's time to take a look at the sales recorded for October. For BMW things didn't go as expected, the growth recorded being slightly under what was aimed.
Over the last 4 weeks, the BMW Group sold 33,274 vehicles in the US, recording an increase of 2.9 percent over the same month of 2012 when only 32,339 vehicles have been sold.

With these results, the year-to-date growth reached 10.6 percent adding up to 295,474 units over the 10 months of 2013. Over the same period in 2012, 267,267 units have been sold.

“The momentum of October is a good indicator of what’s ahead in the final 60 days of the year, especially with sales of the new X5 and the 4 Series beginning to have an impact. All of the leading indicators – sales, order rates, showroom traffic, finance applications – are up, very good signs,” said Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO, BMW of North America.
