BMW F30 3 Series Is the Best Selling Luxury Car in the US

The end of September brings both colder weather and the end of the 3rd financial quarter for car manufacturers. It's the perfect moment to review their performance over the first 9 months of the year and see how the last 3 will look like.
BMW already posted record-breaking sales both in the US but also worldwide, prospects showing that 2013 will be another profitable year. The luxury market in North American continent is still on the rise, thankfully.

The guys from auto guide decided to rank the top selling luxury cars in the United States and see if the 3 Series is still king. Well, their presumptions were confirmed, as the 3er sold in over 77,921 units year-to-date and is still the best selling luxury car in the states, despite facing hard competition from Cadillac and Mercedes-Benz.

Other appreciated cars in their top include the Lexus RX (placed second), the C-Class (third), the E-Class but also another BMW, the 5 Series, that came in 7th.
