September was more than a good month for BMW, it was an incredible month. Especially from the sales point of view, where the German group registered records all over.
Record sales for MINI and BMW brands meant that overall sales grew both in the US and Asia. We already took a look at what happened in North America and now we're checking the other side of the world.

In September, BMW Group's sales in Asia grew by 18 percent to 54,014 vehicles, whilst year-to-date the numbers added up to a total of 421,456 (a 17.8 percent increase).

Robust growth was achieved in Mainland China, which accounted for 35,804 deliveries in September, translating into a massive 20.8% growth over the same month, last year. Year-to-date, China is responsible for buying 284,964 BMW and MINI units, an increase of 20.2 percent.

Other countries chipped in too. Japan grew by 10.8 percent, to a total of 46,502 units sold, whilst South Korea came in third with 29,409 units, an increase of 19.8 percent.
